Vico Lake is located in Lazio, at the North of Rome and has volcanic origins.
The legend says the lake was created by Hercules, who defied the local inhabitants by wielding his club, a stream sprang up and formed the lake.
Today the lake is a natural reserve and it looks pretty peaceful, especially if you’re coming from Rome!

Wonderful! Thank you for the legend. You even found some people, and let them in your photo! 😉
How magnanimous, isn’t it? 😈🤣
I love it when you teach me English. A new word for me.
This one was easy for me, the Italian translation is similar 😉 and I love when we see a dragonfly and the only word that comes to our mind is fly… fly… fly and something… fly and what? Languages are wonderful even when we don’t remember the words we used to know and we replace them with other things! I always have fun with you 👯♂️🤗
