What an unbelievable monastery! Our old churches are made of wood without many decorations. We got married in a small, old church, so poor that the curtains by the windows were painted on the wall.
To tell you the truth I think that churches should be exactly like tge one you describe BUT in the past things went differently so I confess I enjoy visiting them. Here in Italy you can find lots of beauties also in hidden Monastery like this one, no need to go to Rome and visit the big ones to find masterpieces!

During the reformation Martin Luther denied all the glory in churches and Finlnd is a Lutheran country.
Don’t worry, that will make a good excuse to organize a trip to Italy 😈💪😉
Exquisite details!
I am do glad you liked it 🤗
