Copenhagen by the sea

It’s been a while I don’t go to Copenhagen. Do you want to virtually come with me?

My last time was 2 years ago but these shots come from a folder of 2016.

If you regularly follow me you already know that I don’t like having people in my pictures but I loved this capture a lot!

The landscape in Copenhaguen is very peculiar, modern and ancient structures coexist.

I just loved this kind of contrast and I hope you will like it too.

  1. I was in Denmark for a week and in Copenhagen for a few days, as a journalist accompanying a group of students. I had to fake it in front of them that I knew what I was doing with my (film) cameras that my father lent me. 😀 I met an Irish writer who lived there and exchanged letters with him for years but never met him again. Who knows where he is now. Rory is his name. He helped me and encouraged my writing. Lovely memories from this city. Thank you for this.

  2. Absolutely beautiful photographs. I first liked the boats and ships. But then I saw the Little Mermaid and I was enchanted. I have loved that statue for more than 50 years and have never seen it. Your photograph is marvelous. especially with the white swan.

    1. Would you be mad at me if I tell you that, in reality, the little mermaid statue has been quite disappointing?! It is very small and for some reason I expected something much more bigger. The place is always crowded so the effect us even more grotesque. Nevertheless I have been a fan for so many years that I will stick with my childish entousiasms☺️

        1. Thank you so much, it is very kind of you ☺️ I have scheduled more statues for today. Cast an eye if you want 😉 by the way the more I dig in my archives and the more I want to redo this trip to make better photos 😂

    1. Thank you so much Jupiter! The world is such a beautiful place, after all, and there is so much to see. I am digging in my archives as we are all locked up. Stay safe 💪

        1. Thank you so much my dear. We still have to be patient. It’s going to take a while before we come back outside but most of all before we restablish our serenity… But the beauty of this will always be there for us!

  3. It’s difficult to do a travel blog now when you cannot travel with the Corona situation. You seem to be adapting well to this challenge with your uplifting virtual travel photos.

    1. I think it’s because I have traveled a lot in the past and I still have a bunch of photos that I haven’t published yet. I’ll confess that I cannot wait to come back to reality and travels, despite the fact nowadays I am scared of going outside. I think life is much more important than anything else and taking risks is not an option! I want to keep on traveling and doing things that I like, as long as I can… and if I cannot ok… I’ll be digging into my old memories and good times gone! 💪 But, do you know, sometimes I wonder how much time it will take to publish all the pictures that I have🤔🤣
