From sculptures to ceramics, vases, designs, sketches, experiments…
Carlos Páez Vilaró was an amazing artist and this museum tells a lot about his life, passions, vision of life and art itself.
Here above you can find his “manifesto”, the core of his art and way of thinking.
I will translate only one sentence because it is late and I am very tired, it is the one I like the most and I agree with.
It is the first one, and says:”Art cannot be defined nor be explained”.
Close to the entrance there is a small room (the one here above) where they project videos of him, his interviews, his life, his works.
It is a journey in the journey!
I couldn’t help but just loved this place.

Thank you Grady ☺️
I see why you like it. It looks quirky and fun.
Quirky and fun ! Quite the wooden experiment /sculpture- definitely a conversation starter 😊
I guess so ☺️ art always arises lors of questions!
That looks like a beautiful place to have been in. Love this!
Thank you and yes, I confirm, it is a lovely place indeed 😊
