This is the last day of this summer tour around Sicily… it is the day of the Castles!

I have decided to shorten this post as there are so many pictures and information I would like to share so I have created 2 additional posts, one per castle.

We have started from Donnafugata. I was longing to visit it and it surely has overpassed my expectations.

We have a long drive ahead and the landscape is beautiful, as usual.

Here the countryside is always changing, you could see it every day and always find some new details, flowers, colors, etc.

The very last stop is Carini.

I already knew this small village nearby Palermo. I have made another post for the Castle.

I am so sad to leave but other wonderful cities and friends are waiting for me in my beloved South of Italy.
