Sicily on the road, day 2 (Piazza Armerina and Caltagirone)

We started the day with something we had not formerly scheduled, out of the beaten track. Pergusa lake and autodrome

Then entered the magical dimensions of Piazza Armerina excavations.

Arancino break

Direction Caltagirone. We could say it’s the art day, two different kinds, both ancient and unique but still so different from each other.

In Caltagirone you can find alternative pieces of creativity, fruit of the colors and traditions of this beautiful land.

A relaxing stop at the public gardens. I just loved them…

And for those who wonder what’s the weather like… this was the situation at 5 pm!

Anything that with a granita lemon could easily go better!
